Skier's French Toast
    In a 9X13" pan
    melt 1/2 cup butter.
    Mix with 1 cup maple syrup.
    Put white bread over this mixture.
    Layer bread 2 pieces deep (crusts removed).
    Beat 5 eggs,
    1 1/2 cups milk,
    1 tsp. vanilla.
    Pour over bread.
    Let soak overnight.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture (or nutmeg).
    Bake 30 minutes at 350
    until puffed and light brown.
    Serve with hot syrup and butter.
    (May be reheated!)
